What Is Constipation?
In Ayurveda, constipation is primarily a Vata dosha disorder. Aggravated Vata causes dryness and reduced mobility in the intestines, leading to hard, infrequent stools. Treatment focuses on lubricating and nourishing the intestines, balancing Vata, and restoring the natural rhythm of the digestive system.
